OUR STORY

I have always been passionate about Punjabi cuisine. Being born and bred in Oldham and growing up within a family where my mothers and my grandparents cooking was a large part of my life I found that when I visited restaurants which had the label of ‘authentic Indian food’ it never really was up to the taste tests and I was always left unsatisfied.
That was until I came across Cafe East restaurant who prided themselves in cooking Punjabi cuisine with traditional culinary skills with the freshest of ingredients, vegetables fresh every day and the most tender meats. I found that my taste buds came alive and finally I was there- a true culinary delight.

So in late 2019 I decided to approach the owners of Cafe East and bring this sensational taste to the people of Oldham, in the heart of Oldham. We decided to start with a family friendly environment with a luxury ambience and setting so Cafe Cafe East was born and the rest as they say is history.
